Wallet & Credits

Communication costs money. Whether it’s sending an automated SMS to confirm an order or emailing a PDF invoice, these digital deliveries require “fuel.”

The Wallet module is where you manage the prepaid credits that power your automated communications. Think of it like a prepaid SIM card for your business software—you load it up, and Sevenledger uses it to keep your customers in the loop.

To access this section, navigate to General Settings > Wallet.

1. Checking Your Balance

The Wallet Balance dashboard gives you an instant view of your communication resources. The system separates your budget into two distinct buckets:

  • Email Credits: Used for sending system emails (e.g., invoices, reports).
  • SMS Credits: Used for sending text message alerts (e.g., “Your order is ready for pickup!”).

Each card displays:

  • Credits: The number of units available (e.g., 8.00).
  • Amount: The monetary value of those credits (e.g., Rs 10.00).

2. Loading Funds (Top Up)

Running low on credits? You can top up instantly using local Nepali payment gateways.

Initiate Top Up

Click the Load Balance button in the top right corner.

Configure Amount

A popup will appear with important exchange rate information (e.g., 1 Credit = 1 Rupee).

  1. Wallet Type: Select which bucket you want to fill—SMS or EMAIL.
  2. Credits: Enter the amount you want to purchase (e.g., 1500). The system will automatically calculate the Total amount to be spent below.
  3. Click OK to proceed.

Payment Gateway (QR & Banking)

You will be redirected to the Fonepay secure payment page.

  • Scan & Pay: You can scan the displayed QR code using your mobile banking app, eSewa, or Khalti.
  • Direct Login: Alternatively, select your bank (e.g., Nabil, NIC Asia) to log in and pay directly via internet banking.

No Refunds: As stated in the warning box, once the loading process starts and payment is completed, it cannot be undone. Please verify your input carefully!.

3. Monitoring Usage (Logs)

Wondering where your credits went? The Logs tab is your audit trail. It provides a transparent history of every single message sent by the system.

  • Date: When the message was sent (e.g., 2082-09-10).
  • Type: Whether it was an SMS or EMAIL.
  • Message: The actual content sent to the customer.
    • Example: “Dear Sushant Thakali, Your order for Gojo Saturo Hoodie XXL has been received…”.
  • Cost: The exact credit amount deducted for that specific message (e.g., 1.00 credit).
  • Status: Confirms if the delivery was successful or failed.

Sevenledger Tip: If a customer claims they didn’t receive an order confirmation, check the Logs tab first. If the status says “Completed,” the message left your system successfully!
