Ecommerce Configuration

A great online store is invisible if no one can find it—and useless if you can’t track who visits. The Ecommerce Configuration section is the “Control Room” for your website’s technical connections.

This is where you connect your custom domain name (your digital address) and plug in your analytics tools (your digital eyes) to measure performance.

1. Domain Configuration

Your brand deserves its own home. Instead of using a generic system link, you can connect your custom domain (like wearyaki.com) directly to your Sevenledger store.

To set this up, navigate to the Domain Configuration tab.

  • Domain: Enter your full website URL (e.g., https://wearyaki.com).
  • Impact: Once verified, customers will see this professional URL in their browser bar, building immediate trust in your brand.

DNS Setup: Entering your domain here is Step 2. Step 1 is pointing your domain’s DNS records (A Record or CNAME) to Sevenledger’s servers. Please check with your domain registrar (e.g., GoDaddy, Cloudflare) to ensure this is done first.

2. Analytics Integration

You can’t improve what you don’t measure. Sevenledger integrates natively with the world’s two biggest marketing platforms—Google and Meta (Facebook)—allowing you to track visitors, sales, and ad performance without writing code.

Navigate to the Analytics Integration tab to connect your accounts.

Google Tag (GTM/GA4)

Google Tag Manager (GTM) acts as a bucket for all your tracking scripts.

  • Google Tag ID: Paste your container ID here (usually starts with GTM- or G-).
    • Example: GTM-WVJ5HVFR.
  • What it does: This automatically injects the Google tracking script into the header of every page on your site, allowing you to track page views, button clicks, and purchases in Google Analytics.

Meta Pixel (Facebook Ads)

If you run ads on Facebook or Instagram, the Pixel is non-negotiable. It tells Facebook exactly who bought your products so their algorithm can find more people just like them.

  • Meta Pixel ID: Paste your numeric dataset ID here.
    • Example: 1582267176558835.
  • What it does: It tracks “View Content,” “Add to Cart,” and “Purchase” events, enabling you to run retargeting campaigns (e.g., showing an ad for the exact hoodie a customer looked at but didn’t buy).

Sevenledger Tip: Don’t just paste the IDs and walk away! Download the Meta Pixel Helper or Google Tag Assistant browser extensions to verify that your tags are firing correctly on your live website.
