Hot Deals (Promotions)
Flash sales and limited-time offers are proven ways to drive urgency and convert window shoppers into paying customers.
The Hot Deals module connects your inventory directly to your public e-commerce website. It allows you to override standard pricing with special promotional rates, instantly creating “Slash-Down” pricing displays on your storefront.
Setting Up a Promotion
To launch a sale, navigate to the Hot Deals section in your dashboard.
Select Products
The screen displays a list of your inventory items. Find the specific product you want to discount (e.g., “Nezuko Demon Slayer Hoodie L”).
Set the Sale Price
- Rate: This column shows the standard, original selling price (e.g.,
3200 per pcs). This is your “Anchor Price”. - Custom Rate: Enter the new discounted price here (e.g.,
2500). This is what the customer will actually pay.
Publish
Click Save in the top right corner. The price update is pushed to your website immediately.
The Customer Experience
When you save a Hot Deal, your website frontend updates automatically to highlight the savings.
Storefront Display
On your homepage or collection pages, the product card transforms to grab attention:
- Green Badge: The system automatically calculates and displays the percentage saved (e.g., “upto 21% off”).
- Strikethrough Pricing: The original price (
NPR 3,200.00) is crossed out, reinforcing the value of the deal.
Product Detail Page
When the customer clicks through to buy:
- The Sale Price (
NPR 2,500.00) is prominent. - The discount percentage badge remains visible next to the price.
- The Add to Cart or Buy it now buttons use the new, lower rate instantly.
Sevenledger Tip: Use this feature strategically to clear out old inventory. Seeing a “21% Off” badge is often the psychological nudge a customer needs to add an item to their cart!
