The Hot Deals feature empowers you to run targeted promotions, flash sales, and seasonal discounts directly on your online storefront. Instead of manually adjusting individual item prices, you can group products into “deals” that automatically apply special pricing or percentage discounts during a scheduled timeframe.

This guide explains how to create, schedule, and manage promotional campaigns to boost your online sales.

Create a new Hot Deal

Setting up a promotion is quick and allows you to specify exactly which products are discounted.

Initialize the Deal

Navigate to Online Store > Hot Deals and click the New Deal button.

Configure Deal Settings

Give your promotion a descriptive Name (e.g., “Summer Clearance 2024”). Select the Discount Type:

  • Percentage: Apply a flat percentage off (e.g., 20% off all selected items).
  • Fixed Amount: Reduce the price by a specific currency amount (e.g., $10 off).

Scheduling: You can optionally set a Start Date and End Date. The deal will automatically activate and deactivate on the storefront based on these dates, meaning you don’t have to manually stay up until midnight to launch a sale!

Select Products

In the Included Items section, search for and add the products you want to feature in this deal. You can select individual items or entire product categories.

Publish

Review your settings and click Save. If the start date is today (or blank), the deal will immediately go live on your storefront.


How Hot Deals Appear Online

When a Hot Deal is active, the included products are automatically highlighted on your storefront:

  1. Strikethrough Pricing: The original price will be struck through, with the new promotional price displayed prominently next to it.
  2. Sale Badges: Depending on your active Theme, a “Sale” or “-20%” badge may automatically appear on the product card.
  3. Dedicated Landing Pages: You can easily link to a specific Hot Deal from your Site Menu or marketing emails to drive traffic directly to the discounted items.

Managing Active Promotions

You can monitor and adjust your deals at any time from the main Hot Deals dashboard.

  • Pause a Deal: Temporarily disable a promotion without deleting it by toggling its status.
  • Edit Items: Add or remove products from an active deal based on inventory levels.
  • Track Performance: (Coming Soon) View analytics on how many sales were generated from a specific promotional campaign.
