Organization Settings
Your Organization Profile is the “birth certificate” of your business in Sevenledger. It defines who you are, where you’re located, and — most importantly — how you comply with local tax laws.
Navigate to General Settings > Organization to get started.
1. Organization Details
This is where you manage the public face of your company — the details that appear on every invoice and purchase order you generate.
Editing Your Profile
Click the Edit Organization button on the main dashboard to update your info.
Basic Identity
- Organization Name: Your legal business name (e.g., “Racksumo Multiwarehouse”).
- PAN/VAT Number: Your 9-digit tax identification number — essential for valid billing in Nepal.
- Branding: Upload your company Logo to make your documents look polished and professional.
Localization & Compliance
Sevenledger is built for the local market.
- Calendar Type: Choose between Gregorian (A.D.) or Nepali (B.S.). This changes every date picker across the system.
- VAT Registered: Check this if your business is VAT-registered — it enables tax columns on your invoices.
- IRD Verified: Toggle this when your instance is connected to the Inland Revenue Department (IRD) for real-time reporting.
Save
Click Update Organization to apply changes globally.
2. Fiscal Years
Your accounting depends on clearly defined time periods. Fiscal Year settings tell the system when your financial year starts and ends (e.g., Shrawan to Ashad).
Click the Fiscal Year tab at the top to manage this.
Creating a New Fiscal Year
- Click Add Fiscal Year.
- Name: Give it a recognizable label (e.g., “82/83”).
- Date Range: Define the exact Start Date and End Date.
- Current Year: Check “This is current Fiscal Year” to make this the default for all reports and dashboards.
Pro Tip: You can have multiple fiscal years in the system, but only one can be Active (Current) at a time. This prevents accidental entries into closed financial periods.
3. Subscriptions & Licenses
Managing your software costs should never be a mystery. The Subscriptions tab gives you a clear view of your plan, seat usage, and license assignments.
Understanding Your Plan
The dashboard shows your current tier (e.g., “Super Premium Plan”), total Seats (licenses), and how many remain available.
Managing User Access
You paid for those seats — make sure the right people are using them.
- Assign License: Click to grant access to a team member. Choose their name from the dropdown and click Assign.
- Revoke Access: When a staff member leaves or changes roles, click Revoke next to their name to free up a seat.
Upgrading
Need more power?
- Extend Trial / Purchase: Use the buttons to view available plans. Choose between Starter, Business, and Growth tiers, with annual billing options.
